Evaluations
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations (Ages 6+)
A neuropsychological evaluation includes integrated assessments of intelligence, language, attention and executive functioning skills, and social emotional functioning. Evaluations also include academic testing as appropriate. Information is gathered through standardized testing, parent and caregiver reports, observations, and review of medical or educational records. A comprehensive report is provided to share with providers and relevant team members (e.g. school, therapists, doctors) to inform treatment and educational recommendations.
Cost: $4200 due on the day of the evaluation
Early Childhood & Diagnostic Evaluations (Age 1 - 5)
Early childhood evaluations and diagnostic assessments can be provided for young children 5 and under. This may include standardized assessment of early cognitive (intellectual) skills, language, attention, fine-motor skills, and other cognitive skills. Screening of early academic skills can also be provided. Targeted assessments for diagnostic clarity can also be provided, including assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A comprehensive report is provided with recommendations for home and school and can be helpful to inform school placement/entry.
Cost: $3000 due on the day of the evaluation
Targeted Assessments and Intelligence Testing
At times, a specific targeted assessment may be helpful to provide diagnostic clarity (e.g., ADHD, ASD) or progress monitoring (e.g. academic achievement). An individualized assessment will be designed based on the needs of your child. Specific evaluation procedures and assessments will be discussed in consultation with Dr. Pineda.
Targeted Assessment Cost: $3000 due on the day of the evaluation
A standardized assessment of intelligence/cognitive skills (IQ) and brief report can be provided within 2 business days.
IQ Assessment Cost: $1,100 due on the day of the evaluation
Consultations & Related Services
Dr. Pineda can provide individual consultations, which may include:
- IEP team meeting attendance/participation
- Additional written letters outside of report
- Additional review of records
- Phone/Zoom meetings with your child's team of providers
- Additional follow up & feedback appointments
- Additional email follow up initiated by parent/caregiver
- Initial consultation/intake without further evaluation
Consultation Cost: $350/hour, billed in 15 minute increments
(payment due as determined in consultation with Dr. Pineda)
